Why Cognicit was built for healthcare workforce decisions.
Cognicit comes from Pragmatic Solutions, a company that has spent more than 25 years building assessment and learning systems — national-scale testing platforms, team-based learning environments, and simulation-based training. We kept running into the same wall: organizations had plenty of data about their people and almost no insight.
The metrics missed what the workforce knew
Healthcare showed the problem most sharply. Hospitals measure everything except the thing that determines outcomes: how their people work and decide. Turnover reports arrive after the resignations. Engagement surveys describe the past. Meanwhile the workforce itself knows exactly where the strain is — and nobody is asking in a way leadership can use.
